Lunsford’s Victory A Sign of Changing Trends?

Does Lunsford’s win show a shift toward conditioning over pure mass or was it just him peaking perfectly this year? How do you think the judging trends are changing for 2026?

Lunsford’s conditioning was insane this year definitely looks like judges are leaning more toward sharpness and symmetry than pure mass

Honestly I think he just peaked at the perfect time conditioning mattered but timing was everything.

Lunsford’s quads and separation really stole the show

For 2026 I expect a balance someone with size and peak conditioning will dominate

Overall, it’s probably a mix he peaked perfectly but judges rewarded aesthetics over raw size this time

Hunter Labrada had size and shape but Lunsford’s cuts and striations were next level.

Nick Walker’s physique is massive but this year it lacked the conditioning Lunsford delivered

Chris Bumstead may have consistency but Lunsford’s peak and cuts made the difference in 2025
